Facilitating additional service, selling books and audio visual items, a mini Book Stall was opened next to the South Indian Canteen coupon counter, between West 2-3 blocks, on Thursday, 21st June in Prasanthi Nilayam. On the auspicious Thursday morning, Member, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Sri Ratnakar Raju lit the lamp in presence of senior officials, including Sri Prasad Rao, Secretary, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Sri KS Rajan, Convener, SSSST-Publications Division, inaugurating the Book Stall. This will be in addition to the Main Book Centre at the Book Trust Building.

Selected books, audio visual items and photographs would be made available through the Stall.

 

With Guru Purnima coming up in the first week of July, The Meditation Tree, that is flourishing up the hill on the way to the Sri Sathya Sai Samskruti Museum and the Sri Sathya Sai University Administration Block is turning 53 on 29th June and arrangements are being made to celebrate the occasion with due reverence. ‘Sri Sathya Sai Tapovanam’ is currently getting a face-lift and the first phase of this work is almost completed well before the due date, 29th June.

Oman Dance Programme…

A group of 54, that included many children from Sultanate Of Oman, Muscat is currently in Prasanthi Nilayam on week-long Parthi Yatra. Celebrating the occasion, SSSEHV children along with students of Saraswathi Natyalaya, Muscat presented a

 

 

Dance Programme this evening at the Sanctum Sanctorum in presence of an august assembly of devotees. The programme was based on three various compositions, all in Tamil, including one of famous Tamil Poet, Manickavacakar’s popular Thiruvachakam. At the end of the programme all the participants were felicitated with special gifts. Bhajans continued for the next fifteen minutes and Prasadam was distributed to the entire assembly. Icing on the Cake was the melodious bhajan in Bhagawan’s mellifluous voice, sung with aalap; the bhajan was Giridhara Gopala…

 

 

Mangala Arathi was offered at 1830 hrs.
