On this [27th June] wonderful morning eagerly waiting devotees got the [7.55 a.m.] first glimpse of Swami’s car coming out of His residence towards the Kulwant Hall. Unquestionably, this is a moment of JOY & HOPE for devotees – Joy, since seeing Lord in this beautiful physical form gives the most fulfilling and awe-inspiring joy in our heart. Hope – because most of the devotees present inside the Kulwant Hall sit with a ray of Hope deep inside there heart, ‘perhaps Swami will talk to me today’ or ‘He may call me for an Interview’ ‘maybe He’ll heal my sickness’ ......

The car came in driving slowly; the ladies side had good darshan, however the Gents were bypassed again. Swami’s car went towards the centre stage, after alighting out of the car Swami went straight to the interview room. At 8. 2o a.m. Swami went inside the empty bhajan mandir Between 8.20 – 8.50 a.m. the divine avatar Sri Sathya Sai Baba sat alone inside the mandir reading letters from devotees etc. At appx 8.50 a.m. Swami left the bhajan mandir and went inside the interview room again. At 9.15 Swami came back to the bhajan mandir and listened to morning bhajans. Swami drove back to His abode after the customary Aarthi at 9.30 a.m.

Evening darshan Swami came at 4.00 p.m. But again bypassed the gents side, Swami got out of the car and with the help and support of two students walked to the interview room. At 5.10 p.m. Swami came out and went inside the bhajan mandir after the evening bhajans and Aarthi, Swami walked up to His waiting car and drove back to His abode thus concluding today’s darshan. - SBOI
